Security and Verification

So Far You Have...

  • Opened your account with AGAM
  • Filled out your Profile
  • Verified your email address
  • Changed your password (optional)
  • Set the PIN Codes to be sent by email instead of SMS

In This Step We Will

  • Agree to the Manage investment Docs
  • Upload Verification docs (optional)
  • Send a message to Support to accelerate the verification process (optional)
  • Set up additional security (optional)

Contract Documents


You're almost set to purchase an Investment Package, but before you do you must agree to the Investment Management Agreement.



If you've not seen the Agreement before, go to Documents in the left hand menu and click on the Watch button.

Here is the top an bottom of the agreement. You must tick the agree box and click the green Next button at the bottom of the form





Once the documents have been agreed to..
you can now deposit funds and purchase
Investment Packages!


YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO ANY FURTHER
AS THE REST IS OPTIONAL

In fact.. I would go as far as recommending you ignore the rest of this page and get started as soon as possible.

Identity and Address Verification (optional)




You will need to upload a colour scan or photo of your passport. Please pay attention to the "Document Requirements".


You will have to do similar to verify your address. Again, just pay attention to the "Document Requirements".

Get Verified Faster


Click on this Icon at the bottom right of the webpage.


It will open the chat box. 

Click on the person's name to start a message thread.



Send a message to them starting with your name and email address

Let them know you've just uploaded your verification documents and you would like them to check them over.

The support staff work Monday to Friday. 

If all is well they will accept your documents. 

They will let you know if something needs changed or not.

Most mistakes are made with the address in the Profile section - or not using a Country Code in front of the phone number resulting in the wrong country being set for your account!


Google Authenticator (optional)


In the Profile section within your AGAM back office you will see these options:


You have the option to use Google Authenticator mobile app to generate Pin Codes and to log into your AGAM account.

ONLY use this option if you really want to - and are familiar with using the Google Authenticator app! Otherwise, ignore it!

IF you're happy to use it and are familiar with the app - tick the 'Use Google Authenticator to generate PIN codes' box. 

You will be presented with a screen like this...


You will need to download the Google Authenticator app if you haven't already done so!

Before you scan the QR code with the app - copy and paste the Key shown below the QR code and keep it very safe incase something happens to your phone or app! You will need it for recovery!


Once you have set up the Google Authenticator to for generating PIN codes, you can do the same for logging into your back office. Again keep a note of the Key for recovery reasons!

Personally I have not set up my account to use the Google Authenticator app. It is optional!
